      A blend has one dial, not two

      Once two peptides share a vial, they share a syringe. The volume you draw is the only thing you control, and it scales both of them together in whatever ratio their dry weights set. There is no way to take more of one and less of the other without mixing a different vial.

      A vial holding 10 mg of one and 2 mg of another is a five to one blend. Reconstituted in 4 mL, a 400 mcg dose of the first is 16 units, and that same draw carries 80 mcg of the second. Not by choice, by arithmetic.

      This is the argument for reconstituting separately where it is practical: two vials cost two injections but give two independent dials. The main calculator handles a single-compound vial.

      When the vial runs out

      A blended vial is finished when any one of its compounds is exhausted, not when the total dry weight is used up. If the blend ratio matches the ratio of the doses being taken, everything runs out together and none is wasted. If it does not, one compound is gone while the other is still sitting there, and the vial is done regardless.

      The doses-per-vial figure above is that limit: the smallest number of doses any single compound in the vial supports. The doses per vial calculator does the same sum for a single peptide.

      Questions about blends

      Can I dose two peptides in one vial separately?
      No. Once they share a vial, one draw contains both in the ratio their dry weights set. Aiming at a dose of one fixes the dose of the other. Separate doses need separate vials.
      How do I work out the second peptide's dose?
      Its dose is its share of the dry weight. If the vial holds 10 mg of one and 2 mg of another, every draw delivers them five to one, so a 400 mcg dose of the first is always accompanied by 80 mcg of the second.
      How long does a blended vial last?
      Until whichever compound runs out first. If the ratio in the vial matches the ratio you want, they finish together. If it does not, one is exhausted while the other is still there.
